Planning Tours

“How many days do we need to cover Israel?”
This is a question many people have asked. I have travelled to Israel for the past 20 Years and we still see and find things we haven’t experienced before. The answer is in you. Calculate how many days you have free for vacation and how many you wish to spend on your tour – that will lead you to your answer.

Planning your itinerary
Flights to foreign countries are a physical and mental experience in itself- so please plan an easy day before departure. Arrive at the Airport with enough time for parking, luggage wrapping and handling and finding the correct departure desk. Rather have something at a restaurant after your luggage and boarding tickets have been finalised.

This is a list of all the general areas in the country that we plan around:

  • North
    Caesarea and the Coast
Lower Galilee and the Sea of Galilee
    Upper Galilee
  • South
    Eilat
  • East
    Dead Sea
    Judean Desert

Free days – You need time with yourself or in the way you want it. It’s too much to stick to a plan all the time, so don’t overlook planning for at least half a free day. You can always change it.

Last days – Jerusalem is often the highlight of a tour to Israel, so my advice is to leave it to the end. Also, it’s closer to the airport.
